IS THE THRUSH KOSHER !!!!!!!!!

Finchley (Garden N3): Stock Dove present again, also anyone in the area... a pale thrush came out of the redwing roost this morning, my initial thought was black throated thrush, however at the same time it could have been a pale morph redwing. I will report back after I have watched the return to roost this evening!!! (Samuel Levy) My gut instinct was correct for a change... FEMALE BLACK-THROATED THRUSH at 15:55 came in with redwing to the tops of the trees then was scared off by the builders next door before I could get my camera to it. Roost site this year is somewhere near Finchley Tennis club and the redwing and the black throated thrush use my garden to head to and from feeding grounds. If still present on Saturday morning viewing times can be arranged for Saturday evening. Otherwise the trick would be to find where it goes during the day. Also present 12 Redwing, and a steady flow W of 50+ BHG and 50+ Common Gull. (Samuel Levy).....Well Done Samuel! (Ken Murray) Thank You Ken (SL) Congratulaions! Is that the lawn tennis club, Brent Way? (Bob Watts) Yes, I am just waiting to see if I can get the precise location of the redwings roost near there, I have contacted someone who lives there. (SL)
