Bar-tailed Godwits

I had a personal patch record today when i found four Bar-tailed Godwit.I also had a new migrant which was a Sandwich Tern which i heard as it flew downriver.And the Greenshank is still present.

Today i had a new migrant which was a Hobby and i got some pictures of the two regular Mediterranean Gulls and the Greenshank is still about.On a negative note i still have not seen Swift & House Martin.

Hello fellow bloggers i have a interesting thing that i do to make my blog better.And it's is i ask my friend (David Campbell a.k.a Devilbirder) to give me a blog rating out of ten.He as given me 6/10 for all my blog posts.So now i have to improve this rating and it keeps me active to do this.

I am getting a nice little run of migrating waders and i had two new waders for the year which are Bar-tailed Godwit & Whimbrel.I
also had 2 Med Gulls and 3 Swallows.

Today was good because i had a patch tick a nice Garden Warbler which was singing when i was watching it.Also the Greenshank was
still here and also a couple of Black-tailed Godwits.And only three Redshank today.

Here's a not very good shot of the patch Greenshank.At last i found a Wheatear which i was waiting a long time to see.

Plus i had 10 Black-tailed Godwits.Still a lot Redshanks about.

London Bird News

This a top bird for London.Worcester Park: WHITE TAILED EAGLE drifting S from my garden just after 2:30 (Isaiah V. Rowe).

I had two new migrants which had come into the patch today: Willow Warbler and Whitethroat.Also had five Black-tailed Godwit and a Common Tern.

I had only one new bird at the patch today.It was a Black-tailed Godwit and the Little Ringed Plovers are still showing well.

Today i had two fresh migrants a Sand Martin and a Common Tern.I have to work hard just for these birds.

Today i had a record count of redshank 35+ at the patch and here is a shot of some of them waiting for the tide to go out.

Today i had 3 med gulls,blackcap,cetti's warbler,buzzard,little egret.

Here's a record shot of a great crested grebe.A little bit movement at the patch with a Common Sandpiper plus a Buzzard drifted over and also i see the two curlew leave the site.
