A 1st FOR WALTHAMSTOW
After hearing about missing the Bearded Tit that had flown off earlier at West Warwick, I was on a bit of a downer so I decided to go up the bank to have another cigarette when I saw a bird flash up onto the bank and start feeding on the seed - it finally popped its head up, showing me its stumpy yellow bill and warm brown tones around the breast and head. My first reaction was BLOODY HELL: TWITE!!! Then I ran down and got my scope, I came back up and noticed two of them by the water's edge... I started to take some shots and after fifteen minutes they flew off and there was no further sign despite looking hard. (WALTHAMSTOW LIFE 124).Walthamstow main list 244.
