Sunbury: 7 Waxwing along Brooklands Close (near Sunbury Cross Tesco) until around 08:25 and then flew towards the Staines Road West/ Sunbury Cross area.Crayford Marsh Short-eared owl.Staines Reservoir: 2 Scaup, Green Sandpiper, 150+ Wigeon, 4 Gadwall (all N basin).Tower Hamlets Cemetery Park: Woodcock low SE 1225, also 20 Fieldfares flew E at 08:15.London Wetland Centre: 2 Pintail, Shelduck, Peregrine, Skylark W, 30 Redwing flew SW, 1 Mealy Redpoll, 10 Lesser Redpoll, Siskin – south route, 10 Cetti’s Warbler (Website). 1+ Bearded Tit on Marsh, 4 Pintail, 1 Little Egret, 2  Stonechat. Shirley, Croydon (3.30pm): >30 Waxwings in Rowan tree in Myrtle Road at junction of Myrtle, Broom & Gorse Roads. Quite a few berries left, so could well be there tomorrow!.Hilfield park res:Common Scoter.

Queen Mother Res.  Long tailed Duck and Red necked Grebe still present in lee of north bank looking right from sailing club.Barking Bay: 16 Curlew, 2 Golden Plover, Grey Plover, 200 Dunlin, 120 Linnet, 112 Lapwing, 94 Redshank and 23 Black Tailed Godwits.
Golders Green, NW11: c17 Waxings feeding on sorbus in front garden of No.82 Hamptead Way at 14.27hrs with Blackbirds. (not many berries left to keep them there much longer!).Island barn res: 2 Velvet scoters.

Sidcup: 2 Waxwings flew S over York Avenue at 7.20am.Alexandra Park: 2 Firecrests, vocal and visible, in with Long-tailed Tit flock between platforms 2 and 3 by Wood Green Res, between 07.50 and 08.00 at least.London Wetland Centre: Bittern, Peregrine, 2 Stonechat, 29 Fieldfare W+NW.Wanstead Flats: Ring Ouzel  very elusive - first in brooms, later in Long Wood, Brambling (SSSI). Whitewebbs Wood: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, feeding in Field Maples, along Cuffley Brook, c150 yrds downstream from Flash Lane Aqueduct, 11:54 and 15:10 - 15:26 hrs - not heard calling, hovered once, gleaning insects from underside of leaves, also 1 Common Crossbill, flew N, calling.
