Finally got to grips with the horned lark at staines res today and it showed very well feeding on seeds on the concrete bank.Also the bird was very tame and was only about 15 feet away.

Staines Reservoirs: 1 AMERICAN HORNED LARK again on causeway at W end early pm on shingle shore near Linnet flock. Till 14.00 at least.

Walthamstow

Today was 3rd time unlucky for the parrot crossbills at broxbourne woods but a nice male HAWFINCH was a good start.Then a short drive to walthamstow with david campbell aka (Devilbirder) we managed to get the LITTLE BUNTING which was also calling and showed well.This was my second little bunting for london and devilbirders 1st.A great little bird which saved the day.
