Today was a another good day with a new migrant for the year with 2 LITTLE RINGED PLOVERS.

Spring as arrived because today i had my first Wheatear of the year. Which was a nice male.

Looking through my records for the year and September was the best month which produced 2 Great White Egrets, Arctic Skua, and a Gannet. Let's hope next year brings me a London tick.

It's taken a long time but today i found my own london GANNET and it is also a patch tick.

Today i had a first for the patch which was 6 sandwich terns on the ground.And also i had my 3rd green sandpiper which showed well until it then got up and flew over the river calling.

It is only the 6th day of september and already i have found 2 GREAT WHITE EGRETS & a ARCTIC SKUA.My great white egret today was seen flying downriver and was later seen at rainham marsh.I have always said that september is the best month for birding in london.

On sunday i found a GREAT WHITE EGRET going west & today i found another good bird a ARCTIC SKUA which was going north.

Three black terns are still on site today making it the 6th day of their welcome stay.Also i found a female type REDSTART which is a patch tick, so in two days i have had two patch ticks.

Today i had one of my best days at the patch with SPOTTED REDSHANK a site tick and a cream crowned marsh harrier, 3 greenshank, little tern, black terns &
sandwich terns.The black terns have been on site for five days now.

City of london: BLACK KITE from lendenhall building.
Selsdon Wood: BLACK KITE North over.(Roy Weller per KJM tweet).
Fitzrovia W1: BLACK KITE.
Walthamstow:BLACK KITE.
Also a report of 2 BLACK KITE at Beckenham.
