Also 2 Whimbrel landed on W bank of N basin @ 08.45.MEGA: MALE PIED FLYCATCHER at pages acre canons farm.Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park: 6 Tawny Owls - 4 juveniles and 2 adults, all showing v.well; also Treecreeper, Blackcap, half a dozen Ring-necked Parakeets (Alan Hobson). Pied Flycatcher male in trees by Serpentine north of bridge opposite Peter Pan statue 3pm.

Arctic Terns (Sterna paradisaea), Lerwick Tern chicks are fed by the adults for several weeks after they leave the nest and begin migration. These two chicks were perched on a fence on the Victoria pier in Lerwick, waiting for the parents to bring fish to them. Today it was so boring i was thinking of leaving when i looked to the north seeing a white winged gull i but the scope straight onto it and was stunned to see it was a ICELAND GULL a 2nd year bird.WALTHAMSTOW LIFE 128.Shortly after lol turned up saying he just had a LITTLE RINGED PLOVER at the southern end of lockwood. (Great shots lol).
