  1. No problem about stopping the NEEDLESS killing of badgers. But if you understand the epidemiological science, about which there is no argument, it's clear that badgers are as susceptible to bovine TB as are cows, and therefore infected badgers are a disease risk to cattle herds in some areas of the country. Culling badgers won't STOP the spread of TB amongst cattle herds, but it can help to reduce it. In that sense, the killing of badgers where appropriate, is not 'needless'.
