Had my 1st migrant of the year today at the patch.(5 SAND MARTINS).And also this message come on twitter today.MEGA IBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF at Ruislip Lido. Seems to be a lack of info on this bird so is it true or not !!!!.Surprize Surprize it was a CHIFFCHAFF as stated on twitter today.17/3/2014.

Today had a great day at the patch with two ticks CETTI'S WARBLER and a pair of PINTAIL on lockwood  these birds puttting me on 150 for the site.

At last some movement of birds at the patch today 6+ Common Buzzards.And a nice pair of displaying  peregrines + a local parakeet.

London gets it's 1st SAND MARTIN of the year at  Dagenham Chase, over gravel pits by Dagenham Road at 11:45am.
