Today i found myself yet another patch tick with a nice pair of (COMMON SCOTER) putting me on 151.

and also a nice pair of GARGANEY

PATCH BIRDING

I had a nice surprize today when i found my earliest RING OUZEL at the patch.

KGV RESERVOIR

Had a short trip out to KGV res today to see the BLACK-THROATED DIVER which showed really well.And also had a quick look over william girling res
getting 12 BLACK NECKED GREBES and 5 goosanders.

A great start to the new years birding with a patch tick LONG-TAILED DUCK.137.NO 1 walthanstow lister gets a tick with the LT duck.(Lol Cumming 182).

A 1st for london

I connected with the BUFF-BELLIED PIPIT today which is a 1st for london putting me on 268 and also after being dropped off i went straight to west warwick res and ticked off SHAG for the patch.136.

The first bird i looked at today on lockwood res was a KNOT this was my second bird for the patch.It's great finding your own birds.As you can see some more great shots by Lol.Cumming.

LONDON BAILLONS CRAKE

BAILLON'S CRAKE LONDON.

After 13 and a half hours looking for the BAILLON'S CRAKE i finally scored today putting me on 267 for london.The bird gave stunning views when it was preening,and also it was calling and also i see it swimming between reed beds.
