Got a good get-back bird today RING OUZEL which was a tick and some more early summer migrants HOBBY,SWIFT and lots of swallows and a few sand martins and a single HOUSE MARTIN. Walthamstow life 127.

Migration not in full swing yet but did have 4 imm LITTLE GULLS in the morning over lockwood going north.Later on in the day i spotted lol and he said he had a WHITETHROAT by east warwick.Me and lol went back to lockwood for a quick look and had a swallow but nothing else.Also of note the url as changed on my blog from .com to .co.uk londonbirder-birdman.blogspot.co.uk

A great day at the patch today.As i shut the main gate to lower maynard the first bird i set my bins on was a AD KITTIWAKE putting me on 125 for walthamstow.The bird stayed about 20 minutes before flying off north.Then straight up to the 'THE BIRDING BUNKER' as soon as i set up a oystercatcher was calling and flew straight pass me.Also later on in the day i had a low flying SHORT-EARED OWL  and a wheatear.
